The friendly staff made me feel welcome, and the hotel's riverside location near a lake was ideal, conveniently close to Iceland and the bus stop for Landmannalaugar trips.

Would love to go back as my trip was excellent. Its location is absolutely perfect and stunning really close to a river, which puts the Arhus cottages into a beautiful scenery and grocery shop and a beautiful area. The restaurant serves SIMPLE local food.

Riverfront cabins, easy to find with ample parking. Clean, cozy, and well-heated. Convenient location near a supermarket and petrol station. Friendly staff and an excellent restaurant nearby. Great value for money, ideal for a one-night stop.

The location of the hotel was peaceful, next to the local airport. the property was approximately a 10-15 minute walk from Hekla Centre.

Had excellent stay for our second night along our five day ring road trip. The food was outstanding and there were a lot of dishes in the menu. The hotel had a riverside setting next to the lake.

My friend and I stayed at Ranga Riverside Cabins for one night during our aurora hunting trip. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even going above and beyond to post my friend's lost wedding ring back to Indonesia free of charge. The river view from the cabins was beautiful and the beds were comfortable. The cottage-style accommodation had everything we needed, including a small fridge and stove-top for cooking. The location was peaceful and close to sightseeing spots, making it perfect for a short stay.
